How to paint a vehicle with good paint and a roller?

I know it sounds crazy, but have an older truck I bought. its mostly down to the primer and really don't want to spend alot on repainting it. I do however want to protect it from the elements. seen in the past hand painted vehicles turn out ok. is this a good idea or am I crazy to even attempt thisHow to paint a vehicle with good paint and a roller?
Nah not crazy! I knew people that painted cars with those old school foggers you put pesticides and hand pumped! Get your self some Rust-oleum from hardware place and a good brush and go to town you don't even need to mask off anything if you got a steady hand and you can get a few colors and forget about rust!How to paint a vehicle with good paint and a roller?
Try a can spray paint instead, you will have better results.
If your not concerned what it looks like..........go for it but it WILL look like crap .
