GOOD YOUR TALKING TO A PAST PAINTER WELL YOU NEED PLASTIC A BOX COUPLE ROLLS OF TAPE ONE ROLLER A BRUSH AND THE PAINT MY ESTIMATE IS ABOUT ANYWHERE FROM $200 TO $500 DEPENDING ON WHAT STORE YOU USE AND WHAT QUALITY PAINT YOU GET TRY TO GO TO FRAZEE OR ICA PAINTS GOOD PRICES OR HOME DEPOT
you cheep bastard buy some paint and get started. a gallon will paint about 300 sqf. but you need 2 coats plus a primer coat. dont buy a cheap brush either, impress your freind and spend the 15 dollars and get started.
the paint is the most expensive part, of course. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for, so don't get cheap paint. I like Benjamin Moore, myself, but I'm happy with any top brand paint.

Count on 2 coats of paint. For my 12/15 room, I needed just under 2 gallons. At $35 per gallon for the good stuff, it can add up.

Buy two good brushes (again . .you get what you pay for) and a 2 pack of rollers. Also, buy the good 3M painters tape. It's a pain in the *** to tape the ceiling and around doors, but worth every minute.

Remember ... . good painting is all in the prep work. Tape it all nicely and you'll make it look like a pro.
