If you leave paint brushes and rollers in the fridge between use will it contaminate the food?

I've been a painter for about 30years. When I started we painted a lot of apartments. We used to leave brushes in the refrigerator over night. as long as you wrap them in plastic or place in a plastic bag there should be no problem. If using the brush more than a two days I'd recommend cleaning them at the end of the second day. For 1-2 days no problem. Another tip that will make using the brush easier is this. Always paint out of a work pot. In other words never paint out of a full bucket. The paint should never be deeper than 1/2 the length of the bristles. That way you don't get paint all over the bristles and handle. It is easier to work with and easier to clean later. Not only that you will not have paint dripping down your hand. Any other painting tips you need just contact me. Best of Luck!If you leave paint brushes and rollers in the fridge between use will it contaminate the food?
