Ok i am painting my Living Room and i have sheetrock and i already painted it white a long time ago and decided to paint again. But on my walls you can see where the roller last was!! How can i get rid and what is causing it? Thanks in advance!!! :)Painting Stripes from roller?
Not enough paint on the roller? Going up %26amp; down only? You do need to go different directions to even out the paint. Hopefully a second coat will take care of it.Painting Stripes from roller?
You need a high quality roller cover. Additionally, if you are pressing too hard when you roll, you are pushing paint from the roller out to the edges, which leaves a heavier stripe of paint. Apply less pressure, and paint both up and down, and on diagonals--this will help assure better coverage and should reduce your roller marks.
The key to no roller marks is a really good quality roller. And not cheap. It's especially noticeable in a darker paint. Unfortunately, most of us have found this out the hard way!
bet you didnt put on a primer coat on the sheetrock first. do it now and then paint with some good quality paint and rollers.
