First you make sure the cabinet is properly cleaned, to remove grease, etc. Give a light sand.

Paint: for hard-wearingness enamel (oil based) is best IMHO, but you can get good results with acrylic as well

Painting: use a smooth roller, after rolling, for a better finish go over very lightly with a brush which you dont dip in the paint, this is called ';laying off';.

If you need to repeat for a second coat, give a very light sand for better adhesion, wipe after sanding.Painting on kitchen cabinet, but when i paint with roller i do one coat den 2nd coat but there r few lines form
if that was your problem just use paint thinner. then watch everything come off
Simply do all the hard work with the roller, then switch to a piece of flat sponge to even out the lines.........
You should have used a base coat to keep the old color from showing through. It will also help keep the wood from drinking in the paint and leavint that cracked look a base coat will also help the paint stick to the surface and not the roller.
this is not so easy dear i suggest u pls appoint a painter
USUALLY KITCHEN CABINETS HAVE TO STRIPPED/ SANDED, IF IT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO DARK OR GREASY???THEY DO USUALLY HAVE TO HAVE THE PREVIOUS COATING TAKEN OFF, IN OTHER WORDS, THEN YOUR PAINT WILL STICK; TOO I'M NOT A PERFECTIONIST SO A FEW LINES AREN'T BAD--BUT WHEN THE OTHER COAT SHOWS THRO' THEN IT HAS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF, AS MENTIONED, ALREADY!!!
Cabinets are tricky. First I suggest that you use a good primer before you start with the actual painting. Let the primer dry, then do the trim with a small two inch sash brush. Then apply the paint with a roller that is for smooth surfaces. That may be why you are seeing lines. Be aware that using to much paint in one session may result in the paint being to thick and scratching off or peeling off when the doors are opened and closed. Good Luck!
You must first use something to make the old finish rough or flat- they make a chemical for this- People you cannot apply Gloss paint on top of Gloss paint- you must flaten the surface of the new paint has nothing to stick to. In the kitchen, its best to clean, and clean before doing anything-
