CAN I PAINT a car dashboard with a paint roller or brush?? or can i spray it ? whats the best ?

It's best that you leave it alone.CAN I PAINT a car dashboard with a paint roller or brush?? or can i spray it ? whats the best ?
yes and it does add a nice touch to any car.

you need to clean and prime the dash. remove the vents and any other things that you can to give a cleaner look. The color is up to you.

If at all possible remove the windshield it will make the whole thing a lot easier. if you know how to remove/install a windshield your looking at the cost of a new seal.

As for actually painting the dash. Once primed you can use almost any paint. Spray it. Just make sure that it is completely clean before you apply the primer.

Me myself am huge fan of candy and ghosting effects. Take into account that if the windshield has a tint or polarization that will affect the candy or any effects that you may want.

either way don't expect it to last long.

Rolling it , the paint wants to skin off , but usually last longer then spray canning it.

Spray paint likes to flake, powder, and rub off.

I woulnt use anything more expensive then rustolium gloss .

If you use a flat paint , you wont be able to wash it with a rag and cleaner like a gloss finish.

I consider myself a master painter when it comes to rustolium.

Heres to vehicles , both done with masking tape , razor and cigar rollers from home depot.

Both were driven hours after the base coats were laid down.

I like to look good , but not worship a paint job.

Chips and scratch repairs are a perfect match everytime.

The geo is about a year old the truck is about 3 or 4 years old

i've seen it done....dont use a roller brush for god sakes. lol

interior paints best...but you have to remember..over time, it WILL chip.. and look like crap. but you can keep applying coats...i'd leave it alone though
I would gues it'll look like crap, no matter how you paint it. At least with a brush, you won't be painting the windshield etc. They sell covers that lay over your dash..

I've seen some that people glued carpet on.
ok, you have to take out the dash board or what ever you want to paint. duplicolor makes a base, paint, and clear for vynal upholstry. it looks good.
if you really wanted to paint your dash board the best way to do it is use some spray paint it
