Yep. One my dad always used when rollers got hard from oil paint or latex . ';Whoops'; **@#+/* TOSS IN THE GARBAGE. Done, it is over. Not worth the effort to save. Same goes for expensive brushes, if the paint is hard it is JUNK.


Look at it this way. If the chemicals used to take off the dried paint are ';that harsh'; - think what does that do to the bristles of the brush?? Brushes always got washed out thuroughly for continuous use.
any homemade remedy would probably more expensive than just buying new ones. They're cheap!!
