Can anyone recommend a paint roller system ,the pump type.thanks to all answers?

hi james

i bought one of those paint sticks last year when i was painting stucco on the outside of a house. it lasted all of 2 days. just more chinese made crap like everything we buy these days. i went back to my good old wagner power roller. it is about 20 years old and still works great. i only use something like that when doing exterior stucco. personally i would never use that or a spray gun inside. the quality of the work is sub standard with them. i learned my trade with my dad and will always use a brush and roller. being that you can't get a true lambs wool roller sleeve anymore i like using the newer fabric rollers. you can get amazing coverage with them. Can anyone recommend a paint roller system ,the pump type.thanks to all answers?
I don't recommend a pump roller at all. Just use a tray and a roller that is the correct thickness for what you're painting. Nothing could be faster. 9 times of out 10 if you don't clean all the latex out of the pump system in the correct way, you can never use it again. BIG waste of time and money. Nothing wrong with the tried and true roller.

Good Luck. Try Consumer Reports and look up roller systems. Can anyone recommend a paint roller system ,the pump type.thanks to all answers?
My brother has one, and it is useless. The paint costs twice as much, and you waste tonnes in cleaning the system, which does not work very well.

A tray and a quality roller are just as good, or a Tray, and a cheap roller, and throw the cheap roller away when you have done all the walls.

The biggest problem I found was the hose kept getting in the way, and paint would run down it onto the floor: yuck.

Best of luck

not the dulux paint pod thats for sure. waste of money and time consuming. quicker to do with a roller. i admit its a lot less messy but still not worth its money.
