do i do 3x3 feet squares using the W technique side by side? can these squares overlap? How do i paint a 12x12 foot wall using a paint roller?
Depending on what you are covering. You might want to prime the area before you start trying to put on the finish coat. Primer usually gives you a more uniform finish. The W is a good way to go and yes you can overlap the boxes. Good LuckHow do i paint a 12x12 foot wall using a paint roller?
If its eggshell yes, but the overlap must be immediate, within like 5 minutes. If you say do the top first then the bottom and the top part is already semi-dried it tends to slide/streak/stick, ya know? Its much worse with semi gloss, but I'd try to watch it anyway. Good luck!
Always try to work a ';wet edge';, never letting any one section dry completely before moving on. The ';W'; is so you can spread the paint more uniformly. Always overlap for a more uniform coat and texture also.
