I painted my accent wall and i see roller lines and patches. They are visible when light reflects on it.How do i paint a wall with out having patches. or roller lines.?
Patches can be fixed by putting on more coats. Fewer heavy coats are not as good as more lighter coats. You may need extra coats if you are use a dark color on a light wall or vice versa.

I'm not sure why you're getting lines. Make sure your roller is in good condition, is neither to lightly coated or heavily coated with paint. Also, use a good quality paint.

Make sure you work quickly enough that segments of your paint aren't drying before you're done with that area. Painting over the edge of a dry patch can leave lines as well.

This site has some good step by step instructions for painting a room from ceiling to walls.

When you roll the paint on, do it in the shape of a large letter ';M';. Then, use horizontal strokes to fill in the M. Continue painting the entire surface this way.

Make sure you are using a good quality roller with a nap height appropriate to the type of paint and surface you are working on.
Make sure you put A LOT of paint on the roller and put it on real thick. Not enough paint on the roller is what causes the lines and the patches. Don't spread the paint too much also.
You've not 'worked the paint in'.

When painting, anything, apply the same amount of paint each time and paint in all directions, up/down/across, finish with light upward stroke.

Don't leave the job half done, either, when you come back to it later, it will already have changed shade, and you will be able to see the 'join' when you've finished.
Now you need to sand the wall and patch it over the lines. Next time don't put so much pressure on the roller, also use a large nap roller make sure it has a lot of paint on it and go with up and down motion start from the door. Let the roller go over the wall without pressing it and spread the paint if there is too much of it on the wall so it doesn't create drips. Also use good quality paint like benjamin moore(the best).
You want to start near a corner and make a big X with your roller. The X should be about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Then with spread the paint that is in the X by going side to side and then up and down. When you see roller lines it is because you didn't spread the paint well enough.
You are probably not using enough paint on your roller or brush
look at the wall and see what you did paint over it
