How bad will my car look if I paint over it with house paint and a roller?

It looks really bad now, having been cheaply spray painted about two years ago. Yes, I mean an actual spray can, not a gun. I guess my question is, will the roller effect be an improvement? How bad will my car look if I paint over it with house paint and a roller?
It will look even worse if you have to paint the car with a roller. You can use spray paint but that 2 will not look to great. I have seen a couple of people spray paint there car that took there time and they did come out looking descent but over a short period of time the paint will fade and if you do not do good prep work it will all peal off rather quickly. How bad will my car look if I paint over it with house paint and a roller?
Many years ago, I painted my car with house paint and a paint brush! It didn't look bad from a distance, but closer you could see the brush strokes. Also, the paint didn't have the smooth sheen of a commercial paint job. Maybe I didn't use glossy paint - I don't remember now!

However, the color was uniform, and I was able to do a two-tone job and have it look ok.

If nothing else, it will help protect against rust! Go for it!
If you do enough sanding of the paint that is peeling off you can get decent results. Using Rustoleum and a roller it will ';look good at 65 Mph'; The trick is the prep work and not making runs. I'm painting a car with Rustoleum and it's working out pretty well but I have spray equipment.
No, my grandma did this with her car and it looked awful. House paint is also not normally used on metal, so the paint might not even stay on the car.
It would look awful, don't bother!
forget it
